Exhibits Intern
at Stepping Stones Museum for Children in Fairfield County
This exhibits internship provides exposure to the key design and production functions at an award-winning, interactive children’s museum setting. Interns will assist in the design and production of new and enhancement exhibit projects.
This internship is appropriate for students or individuals who recently graduated and are interested in set/theater design, props, graphic design, exhibit design or interior design.
Depending on the individual’s interests and skill-sets, types of projects may include:
• design of signage and graphic props
• production of graphics (computer files as well as assembly/installation)
• research of materials, products and services
• installation of exhibits
• light carpentry
• sewing/craft-oriented assignments
Tasks are not limited to these, nor will you be required to possess all of these skills.
Stepping Stones Museum for Children provides interns with a unique opportunity to be a part of a creative dynamic team in a non-profit environment.
